Kim was born in Britain but made her way to Alaska via Glacier Bay. With a huge love of kayaking, she began working as a guide in Baja, California and at one time, was involved in commercial fishing for salmon and shrimping. Additionally, Kim is a pilot of a floatplane, allowing her the opportunity to explore wilderness lakes for future kayaking. Her love for sea kayaking and her friendship with Greg led to a wonderful creation – Southeast Sea Kayaking.
